Most comparisons quote a base package price and stop there. This one includes the box rentals, the sports tier, the service fees, provincial tax and the pay-per-view events, because that is what actually lands on your statement.
Before you cancel anything
Phone your provider and ask for the retention department first. Canadian providers routinely offer twenty-five to forty percent discounts to customers who credibly intend to leave, and almost nobody asks. If your only complaint is price, that twenty-minute call may solve it without changing anything. It costs us a customer to tell you that, and it is still the right advice.

How the numbers work
They are a representative Ontario bill for a household that wants sports: a base package around $90, a sports tier at $22, roughly $28 of box rentals across two televisions, and about $13 of HD and digital service fees. Those figures reflect published rates from the major Canadian providers. Your bill will differ, which is exactly why every line is adjustable.
Because it is often the single largest hidden line in a sports household's annual spend. Numbered combat sports events run around $80 each, so four a year is over $300 before tax. Those events are included on every IPTVhub plan, so they count entirely on the cable side of the comparison.
No, deliberately. You keep your internet connection either way, so including it on both sides would just add the same number twice. One thing to watch: if your television and internet are bundled, unbundling can raise the standalone internet price by $15 to $25 a month, which eats into the saving. Check your provider's standalone rate before deciding.
We have tried to make it so, which is why the panel at the bottom lists what it leaves out. It excludes hardware you may need to buy, roughly $70 once for a streaming stick. It excludes a streaming subscription for original content, which we actively recommend keeping. And it cannot price the things cable does better, such as a technician who visits and a regulated complaints process.

The cable side is whatever you enter, and Canadian providers typically raise prices after a promotional period ends, so the real-world gap tends to widen over time rather than narrow.
