Why we limit it to one per household

Giving away the complete library for a full day costs us real bandwidth. The one-per-household limit is what makes that affordable. Services that hand out unlimited trials are almost always throttling them, which tells you nothing useful about the product you would actually be paying for.

How to evaluate an IPTV service properly

Most people spend their trial flicking through channels for ten minutes and then decide on a feeling. Here is what actually predicts whether you will be happy in month six.

1

Watch during peak hours

Between 7pm and 11pm on a weeknight, or during a national hockey broadcast on Saturday. Any service looks perfect at 2pm on a Wednesday. Congestion is what separates a good provider from a cheap one.

2

Check your specific channels

Do not assume. If you need the Western regional sports feed rather than the Eastern one, find it and play it. If you need a specific French-language or international channel, confirm it exists and works before you pay.

3

Let the guide fully download

The EPG is a large file and takes two to three minutes on first launch. Confirm that listings appear, that they are accurate, and that the times match your province.

4

Test on your real device

A stream that works on your phone over gigabit Wi-Fi tells you nothing about a Firestick in a basement. Install it where you will actually watch it.

5

Try the on-demand library

Open a few films and a series. Check that episodes are organised into seasons properly and that playback starts quickly rather than after a long spin-up.

6

Message support once

Ask a question, even a trivial one, and see how long the reply takes and whether it is a real answer. Support quality is the thing you will care about most in month three.

Get ready

Install the player while you wait

Trial credentials usually take five to fifteen minutes. That is enough time to install the app so you can start watching the moment the email arrives.

Trial questions

What people ask

Yes. There is no credit card, no pre-authorisation and no automatic conversion into a paid plan. When the 24 hours end, the line simply stops working. We do not have your payment details, so there is nothing for us to charge even if we wanted to.

No. The trial account carries the identical channel lineup and the identical on-demand library as a paid account. The only differences are the 24-hour expiry and the single connection. We would rather you evaluate the real product than a demo version, because a trial that hides the flaws only produces refund requests later.

Trial credentials are provisioned automatically and usually arrive within 5 to 15 minutes. Trials are the one part of our system with a manual anti-abuse check, so occasionally it takes up to an hour during a busy evening.

We limit trials to one per household. That limit is what allows us to give the full library away for a day rather than a stripped-down sample. If you need longer to evaluate, the one-month plan at $19.99 CAD is covered by our 7-day money-back guarantee, which is effectively a week-long trial with a refund attached.

One. That is enough to evaluate stream quality, channel availability, guide accuracy and how the app behaves on your device. If you want to test whether two or three simultaneous streams hold up on your connection, ask support and we will extend the trial to two connections for the same 24 hours.

Watch a live sports channel during a peak evening slot, because that is when any weakness shows. Check the specific channels you care about rather than assuming. Let the programme guide download fully and confirm the listings are in your time zone. Try the on-demand library. And test on the device you actually intend to use, not just your phone.
